85. DIY Fabric Hobo Bag

Hobo bags are simple structures and fairly easy to construct with a minimal amount of material.
I found this tutorial over at Handmadiya. There are no fabric measurements just pictures on how it's constructed.

You essentially have the outer shell (printed fabric) and the inner shell (plain fabric). Both use the same pattern:

It looks like this when it's cut out:

You'll need to reinforce the bottom seam with some extra fabric. (Use the zig-zag stitch on your sewing machine.)

Next, you'll sew the sides & bottom edge of both your inner and outer shell:

With right sides facing each other, slide the inner shell into the outer shell:

Fold the bag so the side seam faces you. Take the handle for the inner and outer shell & sew them together, taking your stitch all the way to the top, but don't sew the top edge. Do this for both sides (be careful not to sew all 4 layers together):

Flatten the bag so that your side seams are once again at the sides. (The red dotted lines indicates the seams you just sewed.) Now sew the inner and outer shell together, where shown, leaving enough space at the top of the handle on each side to turn your bag inside out. Again, be careful not to sew all 4 layers together:

Once your bag is turned inside out, you can tuck the inner shell into the outer shell:

Take each handle, and sandwich it, right sides together, with the matching handle (do this on each side):

Sew these together:

With needle and thread, hand sew the unfinished seams:

This makes a great catch-all or grocery bag. For even more pictures, check out Handmadiya.
